Operated entirely by the volunteers of The Shrewsbury Steam Trust.

 

Please join us for our first open day in over 4 years. Where the vintage building will be decorated for Christmas.

 

Please note this is a Christmas themed open day where only the building will be open to the public with no attractions in the rear yard. These are planned to come back in 2027

- Tea/Cake stall ✓

- History and engineering talks and tours ✓

- Family & Dog Friendly ✓

- Train rides x

- Model Railways x

- Stationary engines x

- Miniature steam engines x

- River picnic area x

- Rear yard attractions x

 

As we move forward and reopen to the public we are in need of public help to raise funds to help cover our running costs for 2027, our insurance and coal cost alone is around £3000 per year.
